A former warehouse building, 255 State Street is located close to Boston’s waterfront. Renovations included extensive repairs to the deteriorating structural system and wholly new facades and fenestration. The street level was redesigned for restaurant and retail space, with a grand lobby entrance for the office space on the floors above. Its architectural quality is now commensurate with its newly acquired importance on the Rose Kennedy Greenway, the string of urban parks formed by the removal of the city’s Central Artery.
